I know T.O.S, can be quite a bit to read but it’s crucial for the buyer to know what to expect and to protect the rights of the artists (me!)By commissioning me (JLpaca), the client is affirmed to have read and consented to the terms and services.Any violation and failure to follow the Terms of Service may result in a rejected or cancelled commission with or without a refund and could be blacklisted or faces a public announcement in regards to the violation.The current terms and conditions are subject to change at any time. Affected clients will be notified.

✤ _GENERAL ✤

I, the artist, JLpaca, have the right to refuse the commission, with or without explanation.My commissions and character design have a limited opening period, my commissions are NOT first come first served.Using any of my commissioned work in any blockchain-related technology, such as NFTs or cryptocurrency is strictly prohibited. This statement also applies in using my art for training AI/ML models, this is also not permitted.The rights of uploading or using commissions as showcase material will be retained by me, the artist, for the purpose of self-promotion. If you wish for your commission to be private, please let me know in advance.All commercial pieces will be charged 50% extra from the decided commission price.

✤ _{USE OF WORK} ✤

At the beginning of sending in a commission request, it is required for the client to state the purpose of the commission.All commissions will be considered as personal commissions, in which gives the client the rights to:✤ Use the commission as profile picture/banner.✤ Reposting the art on social media with the appropriate credit to @JLpacaClients are prohibited to do the following unless there is explicit written permission from the artist in the form of a contract or otherwise:✤ Use the artwork commercially.✤ Print, distribute or sell the artwork unless a commercial license is purchased.✤ Remove any watermarks, claim or heavy modification to the work.Commercial commissions will have permission granted by the artist, if the client wishes to buy commercial rights for an artwork, please contact me to negotiate fees.If you wish for your commission to be private, please let me know in advance.

✤ _REVISIONS ✤

Major revisions can be made during the sketch/planning phrase. The client will be given 3 revisions max, additional changes will be charged accordingly.For emotes, once the sketch has been approved to start the lining progress, there can only be minor edits to such as color changes. I will not be providing any edits to the linework.

✤ _{PAYMENT & TRANSACTION} ✤

Payment is upfront! The exception is character designs and illustration pieces that exceed $200+ USD, 50% of the total price are expected to pay upfront while the other 50% is expected to be paid after the work is completed.Payments will only be accepted in USD (US Dollar) through Paypal.An invoice will be sent over to your provided Paypal account. Failure to pay within the next 7 days will result in your commission being forfeited unless an extension has been negotiated beforehand with me, the artist.The maximum for commission hold is 12 days.If you read to this point, please include a heeheehoohoo in the form thank you.Commission prices are subject to change over time.Commissions made before theses changes will not be affected.

✤ _{GENERAL TURNAROUND TIME} ✤

Your patience will be greatly appreciated! Due to IRL responsibilities and potential circumstances, there may be potential delays in commission pieces but the clients will be kept up to date on the progress of their commission.If a strict deadline is needed please let the artist know in advance.

Further discussion can be carried out for a suitable delivery time for both parties, but do note the fastest delivery time for emotes will be 1 week And for Illustration will be 3 weeks.An additional 50% of the total price will be added as rush fee.The clients are free to contact me at any time for the commission progress, though please refrain from sending reminders everyday.

✤ _REFUNDS ✤

Refunds are not available for emote commissions.For other types of commission other than emote, refunds can only be requested before the sketch is approved by the client.A refund will happen if I am unable to complete your commission and have not started within two months.
